How Your Mind Works To Give You Reality

Philosopher Aristotle said, ‘Knowing Yourself Is The Beginning Of All Wisdom.’ You are a three-in-one being made up Spirit, Mind and Body. Your mind is also made up three parts conscious mind, subconscious mind and superconscious mind. The conscious mind is the first level of mind in the three-in-one mind configuration. It is also called the originator, objective, surface and thinking mind. The biggest function of the conscious mind is thinking, reasoning and making decisions. You also use your conscious mind to set goals, count numbers, select words in speech and control muscular movements. For example, you use your conscious mind to think and make all the decisions of the day such as when to get up in the morning, type of clothes to wear, food to eat, what to do in the day and when to sleep at night. The conscious mind is aware of and receives knowledge from its environment through the five senses. When knowledge is received, it is first stopped for screening and selection. This is how the conscious mind acts like a ‘watchman at the gate’ to protect the subconscious mind from negative sense knowledge. However, before the selected sense knowledge is passed on by the conscious mind to the subconscious mind for attention and action it is, first, mixed with feeling or emotion, positive or negative, which gives it life to raise its rate of vibration or frequency in order to be accepted by the subconscious mind. For example, mere words of goal-setting, intention, prayer, church hymn, prophecy or New Year resolution, which lack any feeling at all, are as good as noise because they fail to reach the subconscious mind for intended action. How many people keep and follow their New Year’s resolutions? For most, they talk about resolutions again at another New Year’s Day a year later to make new ones! Their earlier resolutions lacked sufficient feeling for vitality. Love and its by-products like faith, happiness or joy and hope is the best medium for communicating a thought vibration to your subconscious mind for action.

The conscious mind can be likened to the Reception & Procurement Department of any Shopping Mall Complex near you that consists of three inter-dependent departments the other two being Accounts Department and Warehouse Department. The Reception & Procurement Department, like the conscious mind, screens and selects who and what enters the Shopping Mall Complex in order to protect it from negative customers, people and merchandise. Once the Reception & Procurement Department screens, only the selected customers, people and merchandise are allowed to enter the Shopping Mall Complex and access any of the three departments.

The subconscious mind is the second level of mind and it is also called the ‘inner-mind,’ ‘soul,’ and ‘subjective mind.’ It’s subjective to the conscious mind on which it depends to supply it with the raw material in the form of instructions or thought vibrations on which to work. It controls the working of the internal organs of your body and receives information through intuition, impulses, hunches, intimations, urges and ideas. The language of the subconscious mind is feeling, the power that attracts. Its biggest function is attraction and creation because it’s the seat of feelings or emotions. The subconscious mind has capacity for healing all illnesses, clairaudience, clairvoyance, dreams, contemplation and telepathy.

For example, Brian Adams reports that Tahitians have been using telepathy as a means of communication for many years. It is called “Coconut wireless.” When news events occur, the messages are sent telepathically to others living at other points around the island.’ Adams says that an aboriginal actor he had worked with told him that, ‘Many aborigines are mental telepathists. We know when a member of our tribe is sick, even though he might be fifty miles away. We know when a person is returning from walkabout even if he has been away for six months. We know the exact direction he will arrive from. It is also possible to read another man’s mind and know what he is thinking even though he may be not say anything.’ For instance, a family member who is many miles away from the village and becomes ill is able to let his family know by sending thought messages.

The subconscious mind can be likened to the Accounts Department of the Shopping Mall Complex which takes care of its financial management essential for the achievement of return on investment. On the other hand, the subconscious mind takes care of the feelings management of the mind essential for the achievement of one’s winning and success in one’s life. Just as the Accounts Department enables the Shopping Mall Complex to achieve profit by its proper management of finances, a sound subconscious mind also enables the mind of winners to achieve their extra-ordinary goals by its proper management of their feelings.

The superconscious mind is the third level mind and is connected to the Universal Mind of God. It’s also called inner-most mind,’ and ‘The Source,’ its biggest function is experiencing by being the ‘Storehouse’ or ‘Warehouse’ of all spiritual vibrations to answer and overcome your every question and challenge. When a thought spiritual vibration from your subconscious mind reaches the superconscious mind and you continue to add feeling, according to the Law of Attraction it will attract an equivalent spiritual vibration from the superconscious mind and bring it to you.

The superconscious mind can be likened to the Warehouse Department which takes care of the inventory of merchandise of the Shopping Mall Complex for the achievement of business success. On the other hand, the superconscious mind takes care of the inventory of spiritual vibrations of divine ideas of the mind essential for the achievement of any kind of personal success.

The working together of the different three departments of Reception & Procurement, Accounts and Warehouse to successfully run one Shopping Mall Complex can be likened to the working together of the different three parts of conscious mind, subconscious mind and superconscious mind to successfully run one mind. Nelson Mandela said, ‘Learn to know yourself, to search realistically and regularly the processes of your own mind and feelings.’ John 8:32 says, ‘Know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ Knowing thyself and grow success is actually choosing between who you were really created to be in the image and likeness of God and who the world wants you to be.
