Last year 2022, marked a Golden Jubilee of 50 years since 1972 when American Max Gunther published his highly inspiring and revealing book The Very, Very Rich And How They Got There. He interviewed many American millionaire entrepreneurs who had made more than US$150 million. Gunther wanted to know the ultimate SECRET of becoming very, very rich like those very, very rich American millionaires. He carefully and systematically analysed and summarized his findings into only FOUR main SECRETS why those millionaire entrepreneurs were able to make more than US$150 million.

1. Schooling of Between Grade 0 And Grade 12:

Gunther’s study concluded that Beyond-Grade-12-Schooling was less important in making US$150 million than having a Positive Mental Attitude, a Goal and a Philosophy of Life that says: “Where There Is A Will, There Is A Way”. Surprisingly to most people, Gunther’s finding is correct! Other research findings have consistently also concluded that schooling contributes to success only 20 per cent. While 80 per cent of EDUCATION includes: Identifying and writing down your goal; Stating your goal in positive language; Being determined to overcome your challenges; Expecting to achieve your goal with self-confidence; Dominating your mind with your goal; Describing benefits from your goal; and Taking positive and persistent action. Above all, Tithing 10%; Saving 10%; Servicing Your Debt 20%; and Feeling, NOW, The Way You Will Feel WHEN Your Goal Arrives. Attending formal schooling has just been in existence for only about 250 years or so since the Industrial Revolution (1760-1850) in England, which generated new requirements for formal schooling. The workers had to be able to read and write documents; the poor living conditions of workers pushed some factory owners to set up formal schools for improvement; the combination of human workers with machinery required reading clocks; and specialized tasks required written down hierarchical procedures. Love is good or positive energy that forgives, heals, shares, remains firm, persists and succeeds. LOVE = Lord first; Others second; Value positivity; and Expect the best!!!! A positive mental attitude is a success mind-set, a state of mind that knows and is convinced of ONLY success.

What does a Positive Mental Attitude do?

As a success mind-set, a Positive Mental Attitude is what attracts all positive things to you. Your Positive Mental Attitude is as important to your success as air is important to your life. Its opposite is a failure mind-set, a state of mind that knows and is completely convinced of only failure. The parent of all negative mental attitude is FEAR. What does a Failure Mental Attitude do? As a failure mind-set, a Negative Mental Attitude is what attracts all negative things. A Negative Mental Attitude creates failure by attracting equivalent negative experiences. For example, in 2019 the WILL or BURNING DESIRE of Zambia-born Rwandan and South African explorer and mountaineer Saray Khumalo made her achieve her extraordinary goal, on her 4th attempt, of conquering Mount Everest. The world’s highest mountain standing-up into the sky to almost 9 kilometres. Saray became the first black woman to conquer Everest. On her 1st attempt in 2014, she was stopped by falling rocks from Mount Everest that killed 16 guides. On her 2nd attempt in 2015, she was stopped by a damaging earthquake in Nepal. On her 3rd attempt in 2017, she was stopped by strong winds and illness. She had to be airlifted for treatment from Mount Everest to hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city.

In 2019, after her success, she said: ‘I was aware, taking on the project, that it was big, and it needed to be done. I think that was one of the reasons I kept pushing, even after failing before! My dream is to go higher and go further for as long as I breathe.’ Adding, ‘To pave a way for my children and other ordinary people, so we may realize and accept that ordinary people like us can achieve extraordinary heights. Don’t Think Too Much About The Difficulties On The Way; But Keep Focused On The End-Goal.’ Khumalo succeeded because she strongly believed in: “Where There’s A Will; There’s A Way.”
